Smashed Car Window Leads To Fentanyl Seizure, Arrest Of Car Thief In Fairfax County: Police

A man and woman sleeping in a stolen vehicle are facing drug and grand larceny charges out of Fairfax County.

Asia Bea, 40, of King George, had fentanyl on her while Calvin Alderman, 37, of Stafford, stole the vehicle, Fairfax County police said.

The pair was found sleeping in a vehicle with a broken window covered by a plastic bag when an officer spotted it on Gunston Plaza in Lordon, Aug. 9, authorities said.

Alderman was charged with Grand Larceny of a Vehicle, while Bea was charged with Possession of a Schedule I or II Narcotic and Providing False ID to Law Enforcement to Avoid Arrest. She was also served with outstanding warrants.

FCPD is encouraging the community to keep an eye out for suspicious vehicles. Some clues to watch out for could be broken or smashed passenger windows, ignitions that have been “punched” or damaged, or USB cables plugged into the ignition where a key would typically go.
